Patricia Ann Warner, “Pat,” was born on June 3, 1938. She was
a life-long resident of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Pat graduated from
Ridgewood High School, Wilson College for Women in
Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She taught elementary school in
Glen Rock for over 35 years. She taught at Bryd Elementary School and Central Elementary School.
Pat Warner grew up and was baptized in the Broadway
Baptist Church in Paterson, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late H. Stewart Warner and Eleanor Warner who lovingly raised her to love the Lord and to follow him all the days of her life.
Pat Warner loved her church and served it well throughout the years. She served as a Deacon for many years in the Broadway Baptist Church and then after the merger of the Broadway Church with the Van Riper Ellis Memorial Church in Fair Lawn, she served as a Deacon there as well. At Pat’s passing, on July 25, 2015, she was an active Deacon in the Van Riper Ellis Broadway Baptist Church. Her dedication, caring and card ministry will be remembered for many years to come.
The Psalmist said it best in Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” We thank God for Pat’s friendship and service and for the reward He has given to her in heaven.
