This year “2024-25” is the 10 years Anniversary of the website,
and I am the sponsor. When I was born on April 18, 1962, my
parents were told that I would live 10 days. At the age of 2 1/2
years old I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Before the age 8
years old, I had seven orthopedic surgeries and was able to walk after each surgery. My Grammar School and High School education was in Orthopedic Classrooms (one on one). After High School, I decided to go to Passaic County Community College; after 5 years, I graduated second highest in my class with a Computer Science degree. It was a great experience for myself as for the first time I learned what it was to be taught with other students. I was unable to enter the employment world because of my increased health issues. 15 years ago, I could no longer walk easier, so I needed to begin to use a powerchair. This was a huge change in my life. God had plans for my life to not enter the employment world, but to use my computer skills for His Glory. At my previous church, I was on the Prayer Chain committee, using my computer skills to produce monthly handouts with prayer requests and praises. I also ran the card ministry for the church, sending out custom designed cards. When I joined Van Riper Ellis Boardway Baptist Church, I quickly got involved. I am a Deacon, Founder/Leader of Joyce's Lynn Bible study and the webmaster of this webpage. My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Joyce Nagelhout
